Track Shopify Subscriptions

Renewal revenue behaves differently from acquisition. You can now separate subscription renewals from first-time purchases in Shopify for cleaner optimization and budget decisions.

What's New

  • Track renewals as a distinct AnyTrack event; by default, renewals remain mapped to Purchase.
  • Works with Shopify Subscription API–compatible apps (e.g., Recharge) for accurate renewal detection.
  • First-party, server-side delivery to your Ads Conversion API.

Impact

  • Optimize bids differently for subscriber acquisition vs. retention to improve ROAS.
  • Build LTV and cohort views without inflating Purchase counts.
  • Reduce duplicate conversion noise across platforms and reports.

Get Started

  • In AnyTrack > Shopify integration, map Renewal to your chosen event (e.g., Upsell).
  • Map that event to a custom conversion in each ad platform and enable it as a conversion in your Property settings.
  • Verify with a test renewal and review platform diagnostics before scaling.
