TikTok Conversions

The TikTok Conversions integration is an Server Side API integration with the TikTok Marketing API that allows marketers to share website visitor's conversion events from AnyTrack directly to the TikTok platform.

Data sent through the Events API let marketers use events data to leverage solutions like dynamic showcase ads, custom targeting, campaign optimization and attribution.

Note: Once you've enabled the TikTok API integration, you will be able to see the event data in the Tiktok event manager.

Getting started

Before you begin:

Before you begin make sure you have the following:

  • A TikTok Business account with admin permissions
  • A TikTok Pixel set in developer mode.
  • A TikTok Ads account
  • An AnyTrack account with a paid plan.

Good to know:

You don't need to create a token as AnyTrack automatically generates it during the authentication step.

Connect TikTok Pixel to your property

  1. From the AnyTrack Dashboard, click Pixels, then click on the TikTok card.
  2. Click on Browse to load the TikTok authentication window
  3. Click on Authorize the AnyTrack App.
  4. You will then be redirected to the AnyTrack Dashboard
  5. Now Click on Connect to enable the data connection with your Ad Account.
  6. Enable the Conversion API

Default Event Mapping:

TikTok Conversions are automatically mapped with AnyTrack Standard events.

We recommend to use the default mapping unless you know what you're doing.

FAQ and Troubleshooting

  • Deduplication with the TikTok Pixel

    When you integrate TikTok with AnyTrack, your TikTok Pixel will be automatically loaded for you, with all the required parameters, including the deduplication event id.
  • Matching parameters

    To increase the match rate between website visitors and TikTok Ads we map the event parameters collected via the AnyTrack tag, as well as the data received via API from your conversion source:
    • External ID
    • Phone Number
    • Email
  • Personally Identifiable Information (PII) Hashing

    AnyTrack hashes the personal data before sending them to the TikTok Marketing API:
    • External ID
    • Email
    • Phone Number

    Access the web diagnostics from the TikTok Web Diagnostics tab so you can troubleshoot common issues.
