How to Add to Website Builders

Install the AnyTrack Tracking Tag on website builders like Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, and Carrd using Google Tag Manager or manual script injection.

Most website builders support manual installation of the Tracking Tag. Even without a native AnyTrack integration, builders like Wix, Webflow, Squarespace, and Carrd can capture conversions and send data to ad platforms — you just install the Tracking Tag manually instead of clicking an integration button.

For most platforms, we recommend using Google Tag Manager (GTM) with the AnyTrack GTM Template from the Community Template Gallery. This gives you the flexibility to add custom events and tracking rules without editing code every time.

📘 Note

For supported platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, ClickFunnels, etc., check the Integrations section instead.

If your builder supports GTM, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Google Tag Manager.
  2. Create or open your container.
  3. Add a new tag:
    • Choose from Community Template Gallery → Search for “AnyTrack”.
    • Paste your Tracking ID (from your AnyTrack Property Settings).
    • Trigger on All Pages.
  4. Publish the container.
  5. In your website builder settings, paste your GTM container ID.

Success

Once your GTM container is published and the AnyTrack template is firing on all pages, the Tracking Tag is live on your site. Verify with the Tracking Tag Helper Chrome extension before moving on.

If GTM is not supported:

  1. Copy your tracking script from AnyTrack Property Settings.
  2. Go to your site builder’s Custom Code or Head Injection section.
  3. Paste the script into the <head> section.
  4. Save and publish.

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQ was last reviewed on 2026-06-10

Can I install AnyTrack on Wix, Webflow, or Squarespace?
Yes. Wix, Webflow, and Squarespace all support adding custom code or a Google Tag Manager container ID. The recommended approach is to install GTM on the builder and load the AnyTrack Tracking Tag through a GTM tag using the AnyTrack Community Template.
Why use Google Tag Manager for website builders?
GTM keeps your tracking setup flexible. You can update the Tracking Tag, add custom events, or change triggers without editing your website builder again. Most builders accept a single GTM container ID, which makes installation faster and easier to maintain.
What if my builder does not support GTM or custom head code?
If the builder does not allow custom head injection or GTM, AnyTrack cannot be installed on that builder. Carrd Pro and similar restricted plans require manual embed per page. In those cases, consider migrating to a builder that supports custom code.
How do I verify the Tracking Tag is firing on my builder site?
Install the Tracking Tag Helper Chrome extension and load any page on your site. If the icon turns blue, the Tracking Tag is detected. You can also check Property Settings in your AnyTrack dashboard for the installation success message.
