CPC

CPC (cost per click) is the average ad spend paid for each click on an ad — ad spend divided by the number of clicks. It prices the traffic a campaign buys, sitting between impression cost (CPM) and outcome cost (CPA) in the funnel.

CPC appears in the Campaign Report Performance metrics as Total Ad Spend / Number of Clicks, using spend and click data fetched from Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.

  • CPM — CPM charges per thousand impressions; CPC charges only when the ad is clicked.
  • CPA — CPA measures the cost of a conversion; many clicks (each costing a CPC) usually precede one acquisition.
  • Link Click — the click event CPC divides spend by; CPC is a cost, a link click is a count.
