CPM

CPM (cost per mille) is the cost of 1,000 ad impressions — ad spend divided by impressions, times 1,000. It prices ad delivery (how expensive it is to put your ad in front of people) independent of whether anyone clicks or converts, and is the base auction cost most platforms bill against.

CPM appears in the Campaign Report under the Performance metrics, computed as Total Ad Spend / Number of Impressions × 1000 from the spend and impression data AnyTrack fetches from Meta Ads, Google Ads, and TikTok Ads.

  • CPC — CPC charges per click; CPM charges per thousand views regardless of clicks.
  • CPA — CPA is the cost of the final outcome; CPM is only the cost of being seen.
  • Impression — the unit CPM is priced against: one impression is one display of your ad.
