A Property is everything AnyTrack manages for one website: the Tracking Tag install for that domain, its conversion source integrations, its connected Tracking Pixels, its settings (including the attribution window), and its reports. Every event and conversion belongs to exactly one Property, and the Property ID prefixes every Click ID it generates.
Property scope: one root domain
Section titled “Property scope: one root domain”Use one Property per website (root domain) — never per page. Subdomains (www., shop.) share the first-party cookie and belong in the same Property, with the same Tag on every page. A genuinely separate domain is its own Property; connect the two with cross-domain tracking (the recommended setup for two-domain funnels — do not consolidate two real domains into one Property).
Property topology gotchas
Section titled “Property topology gotchas”- The pixel-less Property dead end: a Property that records purchases but has 0 pixels connected sends nothing to any ad platform. Common shape: ads land on the main site (Property A, pixels connected) while the checkout runs on a hosted cart or booking domain tracked as Property B with no pixel. The fix is cross-domain tracking from Property A — never connecting the ad platform to Property B, which the ad click never touched.
- Attribution settings live per Property — the attribution window (1, 7, 30 days, or maximum) is set in Property Settings.
